About Kemer: 

Kemer is one of Turkey’s natural beauties,  sheltered by the pine-clad Taurus Mountains, and surrounded by orchards of citrus and olive trees, all seemingly carved from the pine clad areas in the Mediterranean coastline of southern Turkey, a rather upmarket area with its modern marina and vast stretch of shingle and pebble beaches that offer peaceful sunbathing or a touch more life with water sports and beach clubs.

Though a rather small resort, it offers a great range of amenities, with beach front restaurants, bars and shops etc, and offers great access to some amazing ancient places to visit and a trip to Olympus for the night is a great experience, camp out hippy style on the beach or hire a tree house for a relaxed evening away from it all.

The area also offers many smaller villages on its outskirts, slightly more traditional and often very relaxing and calm, some still found on the coastline close to the resort hotels and some that are located in the hillsides almost completely surrounded by nature, and these areas are often chosen for holidays by nature lovers or by some of the expats from various countries who live in the Antalya area all year round, all having great access to the city and airport via the scenic coastal road.
