The seaside town of Kemer is found around 45-minutes from the centre of Antalya and 1 hour from the international airport that receives flights from many destinations throughout the year as tourists still flock to the region in the winter attracted to the lovely warm climate with very little rainfall in the cooler months, yet with views of the towering Taurus mountains that, in the winter, are capped with a layer of thick white snow.

The area offers a mostly flat terrain and is ideal for wheelchair users and pushchairs etc, with very few hills to climb unlike nearby areas such as Kalkan slightly further around the coast, though due to the lack of hills it is very rare to find property in Kemer that can offer a sea view.
